but no worries! this is FOB we're talking here, i'm sure either one of them or all of them will get bored, and do something sudden and awesome ^-^

fall out boy might stop for a little while, but come on fall out boy is awsome and people say that they wont come back but they will for sure, also patrick is a singing angel and has to sing at some point i mean like that is his gift ,so come on patrick make the break short :?) and me and mrsxcolliexstumpy are on the same page on what ive read in this discussion. thx for giving me more info about the hiatus, also thx for fighting for the team of fob thats a true fan i would do the same.

I HATE FOB BASHING SITES seriously its like they have nothing better to do...but I'm kinda sad that fob is on hiatus I only started really getting into their music when I first heard from under the cork tree and take this to your grave I've been a fan ever since then by the way I just signed up for this this website not too long ago so if anyone is interested I could use some friends on here

yeah, well there not on tour now. theyre taking a break. but Greatest Hits just came out, so. plus 2 new songs, and rumors theyre making a music vid for 'enemies' so i wouldnt worry too much.
sure, im depressed, but i think i can deal since fall out boy didnt say they were gone forever.
i think theyll come back

Well, seeing as Pete just had a baby, and they've been working almost non-stop for years now, it's really easy to see that the guys would get burnt out. I think they're just saying "hiatus" so that they don't just fall off the mmap for months for no reason. Even if Fall Out Boy broke up by some miracle of God, we all know Patrick would still produce, and probably sing, Pete would be happy with his family, Andy would still be an epic drummer and have his own crap going on, and Joe would be shredding his guitar for some reason or another. I feel like the boys deserve this, I'm happy for them

Dude, they never said the 'H' word...fall out boy needs a break from the world just like the world needs a break from fall out boy. Admittedly I'm a new fan here and I think it's sad they're going on a break as soon as I start liking them...but I have no doubt in my mind that they'll be back. The break might last a couple of weeks or a couple of months or whatever, but they'll definitely be back. Something that awesome cannot stay hiding in the shadows for too long :)

I guess when you live and breath a band, the music ,each other, you're bound to get little bit lost in what exactly you're doing in the world, so i think it's good they're taking a break (as sad as i also am). As Kurt Coabin said "better to burn out than fade away" These guys are all incredibly talented and i doubt they'll be hiding away. Given Patricks fiinger in every Pie, Petes record label, TV gigs and I heard along the grapevine Joe is working on a number of not yet leaked projects then there's Andy - He lives with a hard core band, like he's going to stay hidden away. Give them time, they'll be back as FOB or individually. Either way, I don't think this is the last you've heard of Fall Out Boy....
