oh god. there's this song by some old irish dude called 'there were roses' about the whole north ireland catholic/protestant thing. it's one of those songs i've known all my life and i STILL cry over it.

The first time I really recall hearing this song was at the rolling credits of a movie called 'Switch(ed)' where this womanizing guy goes into the body of a woman. I couldn't believe it. I started crying like a big baby at the end. Worse......I started rewinding the credits and playing the song over again......
