hmmm, well i'm just going to list some bands that i listen too, I dont really know if you have ever heard of them, lol.
But FOB lol ;), My chemical Romance, Mastadon, Amon Amarth, Machine Head, Nirvana, A Perfect Circle, White Chappel, The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Jamson (I just heard of them actually, dont know if they are new), Phantom Planet, Drake (hes hip hop lol), Imogen Heap, The Subways, Prince, Solomon Burke, theres more but i just have a brain fart lol! if there are any that you recommend be sure to let me know, I love all kinds of music, and am super interested in hearing some new bands and what-not!

my crappy mp3 player that holds only 53 songs has fall out boy (i had to say it) panic at the disco, cobra starship, the academy is, im a walking fbr trash target :-) and then i have my chemical romance <3 and taking back sunday <3 and hawthorne heights and then theres death cab for cutie and hey monday. but i cant even fit one cd of each band. im gonna get an ipod touch for valentines day from my mom.

I'm doing the opposite. Ever since i was introduced to The Doors music i've been getting more and mroe into old bands. I'm really into The Smiths right now, and any music from around that time.
Although, a new band that i think are going to go far are Bamboo Shoots, saw them in november supporting 3OH!3 and they're awesome. Also, Them crooked vultures for the more classic rock types.

i would say a band called yashin
they are an unsigned band from glasgow scottland
i didnt think i would like them at first but they blew me away you should really check them out

maybe the academy is... but you know that already. 3OH!3 is good, but not really 'you' panic at the disco but you know that already. its like you know everything. its like you have spies on the inside of the record labels spying for you!

Prime Ministers! They are an Ecuadorian rock band. They dont sound like or look like if they are from Ecuador. They sing in English. You should Listen their single Smoking Monkey its cool.
I wont say "Fall Out Boy" 'cos you are asking for NEW BANDS, no for THE BEST BANDS :)
