Lol okkkay so i'm writing a story about these characters who are in a band(like Fall out boy and stuff like that) they are in high school and the story is just about how the begin there band and there journey when being a band and becoming popular and stuff but i also write like side stories for fun.... I just wanted to post it and see what you guys thought of the characters or something idk any kind of feedback would be nice. This isn;t the whole short story cause i'm not done but how is it so far? (It's pretty short)

Tre and Jaiden where over at Tre’s house watching The Buried Life and eating junk food in his basement like they usually do Saturday afternoon. Sometimes Blake and Kanny would join them but Blake was MIA as usual and Kanny was doing whatever Kanny does. During the commercial break Jaiden turns to Tre and says, “So dude, I was thinking about gettin my ears pierced. Where’d you go get yours done?”

          Tre turns to Jaiden, “Haha well… Sarah took me to get them pierced with her. We went to Claire’s…”

          “Seriously dude?”

          “Ya, well she wanted to get them done together. It was cheap too.” Tre says, shrugging his shoulders.

          “Hmmm, I guess I can ask Maggie to go with me or something. Oh crap! Aren’t all the girls over at Rena’s or something today? Maggie mentioned something about tanning since Rena has a pool.”

          “Oh ya, I think you’re right. Well what are you going to do then?”

          “I guess where taking a little adventure to Claire’s today dude!” Jaiden says somewhat sarcastically.

          “Alright! Let’s call up the dudes. It’s mall time!” Tre says enthusiastically.

          Jaiden laughs at Tre, “You sound like a fag dude.”

Tre throws a pillow at him. “Shut up! You’re the one going to Claire’s to get you’re ears pierced.”

Jaiden gets on the phone and calls up Jeff first. Kenny, Ryan and Troy are over and he tells them to meet him and Tre at the mall in an hour.  

“Why?” Jeff asks suspiciously.

Jaiden laughs, “’Cause we’re goin to Claire’s.” Jeff is about to ask why again but Jaiden cuts him off. “Just meet us there okay! Or else. Alright see you in an hour, bye.” He hangs up the phone.

An hour later, the guys are standing outside of Claire’s staring at it like it’s going to eat them whole. Three little girls push them out of the way to get into the store. This seems to wake them up and they realize they should do something.

“Soooo, I guess we should walk in there now huh?” Tre says hesitantly.

“Man, what if one of the guys from the football team sees me? They’ll never let me live this down.” Troy says looking around nervously.

“Fine, dude, wimp out on us and go wait outside by the couches.” Jaiden challenges him.

“Naw man, I’m no wimp. I’m just sayin.”

“Alright then, let’s go!” Tre says.

They all walk in together, Tre leading the way. Ryan and Kenny are in the back of the pack wondering why they even bothered coming along. Ryan takes two steps into the store looks around in horror and disgust and walks out of the store to go wait by the couches. Kenny takes a few more steps and sees some girls his age smiling at him flirtatiously. His blond shaggy hair and blue eyes tend to attract a lot of girls.

Oh no! Kenny thinks. I’m not dealing with those Justin Beiber fan girls. He smiles back at them but then walks out and goes to sit down next to Ryan.

The four remaining boys’ presence in the store seems to make the workers a little anxious. The boys notice the manager, who is sitting at a cash register, glaring at them every so often. Jaiden, Tre and Jeff try to ignore it and walk over to the little pink chair where they pierce ears. Troy is overtaken by all the shiny things and walks over to look at it all. In the chair is a little girl about six, getting her ears pierced. She sits there quietly and gets them pierced in a second. The girl hops off the chair smiling and the lady working there hands her a lollipop. The mother, noticing the three boys, quickly grabs her daughter’s hand and hurries her away.

The lady is probably in her younger twenties with long blonde hair. She looks at the boys very condescendingly and asks with an attitude, “Can I help you?”

Jeff pushes Jaiden and Tre out of the way and says, “Yes you can!” Flashing her his sexy smile. (Well, at least, he thinks it’s a sexy smile.) The lady just glares back at him.

Before Jeff could get them kicked out of the store, Jaiden shoves Jeff out of they way and says, “Excuse my friend, he’s a little challenged, if you know what I mean. Anyway, I was just wondering if I can get my ears pierced.”

The girl looks at him questionably and doesn’t say anything like she thinks it’s a joke.

“My girlfriend told me to go here to get it done…” Jaiden says rubbing his neck embarrassed.

“Ya, ok that’s fine. Sit down” Jaiden obeys and looks up at her with nervous eyes. 

“Ummm… is this going to hurt?” He asks.
