Tough to call, fall out boy are my favorite band, but let's face it, my chemical romance have done 1000000 times better

Well that's a hard question xD.

In iTunes, I have played Fall Out Boy the most, so I guess that says that.

But, I feel Fall Out Boy kinda sinks into a general category of pop-punk. Whereas, I think MCR stands out more. 

It's an ultimate tie though xP. 

Nabs has a very good point too. It is hard to judge a band in such a vague, open way. Even when the two are put into tighter categories on judgement (lyrics, guitar riffs, vocal abilities) I think it comes out to be that they both are amazing, and there isn't any sort of a better band in this comparison.

This question is probably the most impossible question to answer. Yes, people have different oppinions and may prefer one more than the other, but each band has a different sound. You can't go comparing them to each other. For me, I can't chose which one is better. Both have always been my all time favorite bands, and I can't chose one over the other.

i think they are both amazing in their own ways, different types of music.

fall out boy has more hits, but mcr is still together and really growing into their own legend.
