Among many Concerts and Festivals The Bamboozle Festival is definately in my top 10 list! I think that I should win because ever since I was a young girl, my mom had always told me that I had to wait til I was eighteen til I could go to a concert. When I finally turned eighteen our economy was so bad I couldnt find a job and my mother only had enough money too keep our family fed and keep a roof over out heads. I'm now nineteen and have never been to a live concert, and music is one of my biggest passions, and I can't go a day without it! I have always wanted to see live performances from my favorite artists and bands! I really hope you guys find it in your heart to choose me and give me my very first concert experience. It would be so awesome and I would appreciate it tons! Thank you!
love and peace, -Kaitlyn
I'm a poor college student who will be traveling from Florida to attend this show! Something Corporate has been my favorite band for 8 years, and this reunion is the highlight of my year. I will already been spending a lot of money to travel to Chicago for this show, so every bit of money I can save would be a huge help. I dedicate my life to concerts, working at a small venue in Florida, both working at shows and doing PR. Although I go to two or three concerts a week for work, this one concert means more than a year's worth of shows combined.
my best friend and i nearly had a heart attack when we heard something corporate was being added to the lineup; we've been fans of soco and jack's mannequin for years, but have never been able to catch either band live. we originally heard about them playing only the california date and were bummed, but now they'll be in chicago too! not to mention the other great bands on the lineup that always put on a fantastic show, like the cobras and 3OH3!. it's our senior year, and bamboozle chicago would be a great way to finish it off.
As of today (March 2nd) it's my birthday and I know it's not fair to pull the "it's my birthday, give me free stuff" card but I am. I live in Michigan and have never been able to attend a Bamboozle anywhere. I really would love to attend the Chicago one and it just so happens that I'm a huge long time fan of Something Corporate. I could tell a million stories to why I feel I deserve tickets spanning over the past 8 years of my life but rather then that I'll just state why I'm doing this. Im a local artist who is going on my first tour this summer then this fall. I can't afford both traveling to Chicago AND buying tickets to this wonderful fest. Seeing live music is always my favorite thing to do and it also inspires me as Im sure it does everyone else. I already have a person wanting to go, and these two tickets would mean that we could actually make this happen. That person happens to be probably the biggest SoCo fan I've ever known/known about and to her, this would mean the world. Regardless if I win or not I think this contest is GREAT and the way to enter is amazing. I've enjoyed reading everyones entry's thus far and everyone deserves to win. Thank you for doing this!

why i want to win tickets to bamboozle....

im superrr stokeddd for bamboozle :) there are many reasons i want..no..i NEED these tickets. First of all winning these tickets would complete my life :) lately ive been really sad since my dog died :( she was my baby..winning would make me very happy. i would give a ticket to my sister as a birthday present. i no she would justt go crazyy if i got her a ticket lol that would be awesome. i have a big family and recently we havent been able to do anything fun together and this would make me and my sister soo incredibly happpy :) f.o.e. is soo amazing for doing this contest :))))) music is such a big part of my life. i truly believe its the only thing that gets me through the day lol friends or enemies forr lifeee <3

much loveee xoxoxoxoxooxooxoxo

pleasee pleasee pleaseee with a cherry on toppp pick me :)))))
I'm a poor graduate student (6 years of loans and counting!) whose life was changed by Something Corporate's album "North" at the age of 17. I loved SoCo before that (the Audioboxer EP's "Walking By" broke my heart), but "North" was transcendent for me. Andrew McMahon has always had a way of speaking to my heart, and I feel like I've grown up alongside him. His music has been a constant for me, despite life's inconsistency. If I could see Something Corporate live, it would remind me of the hopeful escape I experienced the first time I listened to "North." It would also be incredible to share that moment with someone else. As much as I need the "free," I also need the "Something Corporate." That music means the world to me. Grace and peace!
I'll be in Chicago for ACEN that weekend. I need something to do during the day aside from playing video games. In the arcade of an anime convention
One of the reasons I think I should win tickets to Bamboozle is because music is my life. I play guitar, drums, and bass & really would love to attend this festival. It's expensive & I don't think I'll have enough to pay for tickets. I love seeing other bands live. It inspires me a lot & makes me want to go for my dream even more. I also take photos. It would be awesome to get to take pictures of/for these bands. :)

In high school, my best friend and I would go to tons of concerts together and always had an awesome time. Our first real concert together was Fall Out Boy, at the Charter One, and it was one of the most fun times i can remember having as a teenager. Now, I'm 20 and planning to move soon, and she's graduating high school in the spring, and going off to California for school. I saw that some of our favorite bands that we've seen together are on the bill, and playing at our favorite place. I told her and we were both excited, but neither of us has money to go. It's been almost two years since we've been to a show together. She's been busy with school, and I feel like I'm starting to grow up. It sucks to know that I'm no longer a teenager, and that all of my friends from high school have left or are leaving me. Everything in my life is changing. So, before me and my friend both kind of "grow up" and go our own ways, it would be awesome to kind of have one last blow out. Me and my friend would love to go to this show.
Bamboozle always has a great line-up and it's been one of the things I want to do once I turn 18: Go Bamboozle and see the massive quantities of bands that play and the culture that is "the scene." When Bamboozle Chicago was announced, I was so excited! Finally a chance to possibly see one of the greatest festivals. There was no doubt in my mind I'd HAVE to go. Then, last week Something Corporate got announced! Andrew McMahon has been such an inspiration to me and Something Corporate has gotten me through the hard times in my life. The lyrics and melodies emanate the passion that the band has put into their songs. When I found out Something Corporate would be playing these few shows, I think my heart skipped a beat. The chance to see the band reformed and playing my favorite songs would be an experience I'd never forget.
Thanks for your time,
--Rachael
I should win tickets to bamboozle Chicago because I've been listening to Something Corporate since I was 12. (I'm 21)
They broke up before I could see them, they never came anywhere remotely near the state of Maine (where I lived until I was 18). Now that they are coming to Chicago, practically knocking at my door, just a mere 5 stops on the CTA from my apartment. It's always been a dream of mine to see Hurricane (the formal weather pattern) live. Andrew Mcmahon is one of the best song writers of our generation. I want to sing along to all the songs I grew up with.

sincerely,
Jake
I hope I win this contest because it would be the best day ever! One of my favorite things in the world are summer festivals and I am so excited that Bamboozle is finally coming to Chicago! Last year, I was dying to go to the other two Bamboozle festivals so I can hardly believe that Bamboozle is coming to Chicago......and with such a great line up!
