Welcome to MONDAYEYES! Founded by William Beckett, MONDAYEYES is your place to share your poetry/prose/writing. We want to see anything from haiku’s to sonnets. William will be over seeing the group and highlighting some work on his blog. Can’t wait to see your work!

Please read before posting:
If you submit a poem, short story, etc. please submit it as a journal, do not post it in the forum. William will not see your submission unless it's a journal. The forums are there for you to discuss your favorite poems, stories, writers, etc.

"My blog was created almost three months ago as a creative outlet for me. But having met a lot of you that visit the blog, and having read your comments over the weeks, I've decided to create a place for you as well. A place where you can share your poetry, prose, short stories, etc. with me and other people that are interested. There is no catch. There is no signing on the dotted line. There is just MONDAYEYES. Basically, I'm founding a New Poet's Society. Anyone is welcome, as long as you love to write, and respect each other. That's all I ask!

I'll periodically be posting some of the work that stands out to me, but this is in no way a competition. Any form is acceptable. (For instance, I never really write in traditional forms or stanzas, mostly because I don't know how to write proper-by-the-book poetry, so that should ease your worries!)

In the meantime, not much is going to change here on the blog, so if MONDAYEYES doesn't sound like its for you, don't hate, appreciate!"
