I have heard many mixed reviews on what people thought about Pretty. Odd. and some people said they loved it while others thought it was a disappointment after their first album. Personally, I like the sound of A Fever You Can't Sweat Out a lot better, but Pretty. Odd. just sounds more professional. What do you think??

I love AFYCSO moooooooooooooooore than Pretty Odd, when I listened PO for the first time & I've heard "We're So Starving" I've said "Oh God, where's Panic?". AFYASCO is unique, was totally Panic! style, PO is just a pale attempt to imitate Beatles' style & personally I don't prefer Beatles.
i love both albums, but in the first album the music was full of energy and emotions..but they're so different that it is very difficult to judge..PO..hm..it's more romantic and AFYASCO full of boyish, it's closer to me...
HMm both are gr8 but i love AFYCSO more then Pretty. Odd.
You do have a point. But it's kind of like....Pretty. Odd. is an album that people would listen when they're trying to sleep. I honestly don't think Pretty. Odd. sounds more professional....it kind of seems all over the place.....and the lyrics don't click as much as the ones in A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. Don't get me wrong...I love both albums.....but Pretty. Odd. is like a Beatles rip off......and The Young Veins took it to a terrible level now.....
The young veins did take it waaaayyy too far with the whole beatles thing. in an interview they said that they were going for a beach boys sound that wasnt "too beachy" but i think its just a bad attempt at imitating a good band's sound.

i loveee AFYCSO sooo much that it was literally the only thing i listened to whenever i put on my ipod. im listening to "but its better if you do" right now! but i think that Pretty. Odd. was just a dissapointment. i was so psyched when i heard they had a new album, but then i got up to "shes a handsome woman" and i gaave up. i dont even know a couple of the songs on theree very well and i am a very big fan, so that says something. i completely HATE the beatles (sorry to anyone who likes them!) and i just think that they have to go back to their old music. the break up was good, i think, because if you've heard the young veins then you just know that the whole new sound that is Pretty. Odd. was all becuase of Jon and Ryan. Then Brendon and Spencer come out with New Perspective and in a recent interview they say that the Panic! is putting the exclimation mark back, so they are slowly getting back to the sound i think all of us loved.

*-* i'm with u, I quote every single words
its sooo true though, and my sister agrees too. they need to start making that upbeat music again! brendon said that him and spencer were gonna keep making music like in pretty. odd. but i highly doubt it will be anything like it...

both albums are awesome, but a fever you can't sweat out is better. because it explores a dark side where pretty odd shows that they are maturing in music and are exploring different styles of music...
i love both....<3
I enjoyed both=]
but i prefferr the first album
"A fever you can't sweat out"
which by the way great album name!
it was more up beat!
whenever I'm home alone I put it on repeatedly hahaha
it made me feel like dancing!<3
=D
i love both albums but i can actually listen to PO songs when my paretns are in the room :) over all, i love AFYCSO better
