Play the right shows with the right press at the shows, this is what`s important about it. Make shure, the band invites all important press at the areas you play! And have at least a promo pack with info and cd with you for the press. That´s how we got started. In 2009 we have been on tour with Eric Singer Project (Kiss and Alice Cooper Drummer) and played a lot of great shows. And we hopefully will get a great label deal next few month. New album is recorded. All I can say is, keep on rocking the stages and give your best, an sooner or later you will make it...

when you play a lot of shows, you get a lot of press.
the show came before the press, just like the chicken before the egg :)

shows get you press, press gets you shows- it works out either way. nevertheless, getting press is always exciting for a band

focus on playing alot of shows and then u will get hardcore fans that will twell others about you. dont totally ignore the press aspect of it but dont blow of the shows because thats what the fans get excited about

Um,.I'm not sure u see I don't have a band yet. I'm still hoping to find them soon but I would try to get good press & still do good shows. Hope I find my band soon :D

It's all about the fans and the music with a hint of press. We have played a ton of shows with a lot of potential fans that became fans that night and spread the word. Of course, our management will say otherwise...lol

both things are important!

Of course if the press will help you you have more visibility = more people to your show.

Use any way to be known by as many people you can.
