So I haven't posted a blog in about ten days for multiple reasons. Mainly the heat was so overwhelming that my brain was melted on a daily basis, and I couldn't figure out how to type. It was pretty hot in Texas and St. Louis and Pennsylvania, but that was nothing compared to the fiery hell that was Florida and Atlanta.

It's been four weeks, and we're fully caught in the gears of the daily grind that is the Warped Tour. Keeping in line with the summer camp/high school analogy, the cliques have formed: the "cool" kids hang out with other "cool" kids while we gaze longingly at them from the band room ("Band fags!"), or in my brother's case, from the math club meeting. So we had an "off-day" from Warped Tour on Monday, and while most of the other bands were at hotels, lounging by the pool, we were in NYC, doing press and whatnot. We ended the day with an evening performance on the rooftop of the Virgin/EMI building in Manhattan. Really, really fun. First time I've ever done something like that. So we've been in Canada the past few days and we're loving it. Canada has a soft spot in my heart for personal reasons, but beyond that, most people I've met in Canada are extremely friendly, welcoming, and hospitable. Excluding some of the folks working at the venue today in Montreal; they clearly don't like Americans and have been slightly rude to us.
