So I haven't posted a blog in about ten days for multiple reasons. Mainly the heat was so overwhelming that my brain was melted on a daily basis, and I couldn't figure out how to type. It was pretty hot in Texas and St. Louis and Pennsylvania, but that was nothing compared to the fiery hell that was Florida and Atlanta.

We've also had problems with the satellite internet on our tour bus; in St. Petersburg it was due to the tropical storm that drenched us all; yesterday it was just a crappy location with almost zero signal.

Yesterday in Milwaukee we had a bus full of visitors; it was really nice to see folks from home. My brother's girlfriend joined us on the bus; she'll be with us for a few days. My mom came by and brought a bag full of wonderful stuff. She even brought me the rolling tobacco I like, because I've had such a hard time finding my brand on the road.

Today is Detroit; while it's not my favorite place, we have a really great fanbase here and we can't wait to see them again. Detroit really is a city of rock n' roll. Tomorrow is our hometown show, and we're all so excited we're wearing diapers because we can't stop wetting our pants.

In other news, thirteen (yes, 13) buses have been infected with a strain of some sort of STD that it is thought came from the SAME GIRL. How gross is that? I mean, effin' A, rock n' roll, but shit, let's use our heads.
