The first time I saw Paramore was in 2005, and they were the opening band on a 5-band lineup (Acceptance was headlining). The show was in a little rec-center looking venue in Syracuse, which I don’t think was even sold out. I hadn’t heard much of their stuff before that show, and they totally blew me away.

It’s been awesome to see their progression & growth over the last 4 years. Their new album brand new eyes is out today and there have only been a handful of bands this year that have put out albums I’ve been this excited to buy. I’ve been binge-listening to it for the last week via their myspace stream, and I have a feeling that I’m only going to listen to it more now that I can actually put it on my ipod.
