They were average. That was the only way to describe them. They were not exceptionally good-looking or horrendiously ugly. The only outstanding quailty they had was their eyes. Their pale grey eyes. Besides that, they were just normal.

What wasn't normal though, was what they could do. These...beings could travel where no one else could. Planet to planet; dimension to dimension.

The one thing they couldn't do though; stop.

If they stayed in one place too long, they would be found by others of their kind. They called them Yernatos. They were called Traitors.

When they left, they said they were going somewhere safe, were they could never be found. They asked me to go with them. The only one who objected?was their third eldest.

She said if I came, the Yernatos would be able to find them. Hearing this, I told them I?would never forgive myself if they became endangered.

So, they left. That was ten months ago and I haven't heard from them since.

The other day though, a group of eight came to my work and they all had the same eyes as my friends. I thought they were Yernatos but they didn't seem threatening so I passed them off as just being regular people.

I was wrong though, and because of that, my friends are now in danger.
