Were it not for music, we might in these days say, the Beautiful is dead. ~Benjamin Disraeli

That's why I'm here, truly. The music. Something worth more than the breath within my lungs, of greater value than my own personal existance. In fact, it is a safe bet to assume that, without music, I wouldn't be around. I can't think of a memory without music; my father and I sitting on the floor of the living room with Pink Floyd's The Wall playing, both of us in silence, just listening. My freshman year bus rides to GSWLA with the smooth voice of Bono in my ears, watching as the sun crept over the clouds.

This year, one of the best and worst I've experienced, screaming my head off at Fall Ball on Halloween night, waltzing as good as I know how with my best friend while some kid from school stands beside me (in a Bleaker costume from Juno) and The Academy Is... does what they do, produce wonderful sound that reminds me of an over all beautiful summer just a few months before.

And I could go on, really, but continuation lacks a point- you get the idea.

Blogging is something new to me. I've never seen a real point, my life isn't much to talk about. But, I might as well, maybe something exciting will happen eventually. Until then, I'll give you my headstrong opinions and biased views.
