I gotta feeling….that this was my absolute favorite way to spend last weekend..:)
On March 5th and 6th, I was a lucky one of 700 students to participate in my school’s annual 33rd Marathon Dance, (a 28 hour long event consisting of non-stop dancing ……:]). Together, we all danced, despite any tiredness we wouldn’t allow ourselves to show, for 24 recipients we chose to support. The dance is a fundraiser held each year since 1977….and most definitely the highlight of every school year.
This was a dance we put together in two weeks to perform at the ending ceremony…(originally it was on Oprah??)....Despite raising $283,000+, we all helped to forever change others’ lives for the better….Definitely something to celebrate :)
